rise was founded in early 2007 by the former crew of tvt. postproduction Berlin. Robert Pinnow and Sven Pannicke are ceos and producers at rise while Markus Degen and Florian Gellinger take on the creative and technical supervision of the visual effects that are processed.

The idea was simple: All four have been working together for a long time and have been complimenting one another perfectly. They started to dream of their own company where they would have full control and independence. From there it was easy to transfer the unrivaled knowledge about film and customer treatment to a new, independent company. rise was born. rise offers directors and producers guidance from day one of script writing. rise knows what directors wish for and helps to fit even the most exhilarating or subtle visual effects into the smallest budgets.

Our advanced visual effects budgets help producers to wrangle their costs based on just the script and possibly a rough story board.

rise uses state-of-the-art technology and software. But as far as directors and producers are concerned, nobody has ever asked. They were just blown away by the images we created for them...
